Official PP Post

I've decided that I'm going to make an official pet peeves post. So every time something really annoys me, I'm going to write about it here.

1) 'Later' and 'latter' are two different words, people! They're not interchangeable!

2) It's called Deadliest Catch, not Most Dangerous Catch or Greatest Catch. I don't even watch the show and I know that!

3) 'Rogue' and 'rouge.' Seriously?!

4) 'Defiantly' and 'definitely.'

5) 'Withering' and 'writhing.'

The vet says my sweet baby Daisy only has a few more days to live. Completely unexpected and totally devastating news.

So...

We're gonna lose our house. I can't get a job, and no one else is even trying anything to stop it. I just don't know what to do anymore.

Okay seriously, my new pet peeve is people using "withering" when they should use "writhing."
It sounds idiotic. They don't even come close to similar.

Your result for The Fan Fiction Personality Test...

The Weirdo

Crackfic, Mpreg, and all the other oddities.
You are pretty weird. It's hard to put you in a box. On one hand, you might lean towards the bizarre subgenres; recklessly slash people with inanimate objects, create alternative universes where Harry Potter is a 7 years old girl named Annie and don't take fanfiction very serious. On the other hand, you might be a misunderstood genius that could write Tolkien, Roddenberry and Rice into the ground, and your ideas are simply totally ahead of their time.

However, the chances you're the latter are rather small.

Well the good news is that my father is better; he's actually back at work. They did put him on blood thinners, which isn't so great with his Crohn's, but he seems to be doing okay at the moment.

Bad news is that my computer is sick again. A few days ago, my antivirus software stopped updating. After working with customer service for a couple of days, I found that my other applications were having the same problem, leading me to believe that something is wrong with my computer itself. I called tech support and they pretty much said, "Yeah, we're not sure..." and tried to transfer me to a paid service. So I'm not really sure what's going on. I stayed up all night last night backing stuff up, just in case.

Hopefully, this will all get fixed before my birthday on Sunday. Would it seriously be too much to ask for one day where I'm not on the verge of an anxiety attack?
